OUR BELIEFS
Scripture
God inspired the Bible to be written through men without error. The Bible is sufficient to teach us everything we need to know to live our lives for the glory of God. (2 Peter 1:21)
Trinity
God exists eternally in a Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He has sufficiently revealed Himself through Scripture and in His son Jesus Christ. (2 Corinthians 13:14)
Jesus
Jesus Christ is God and Savior. He became a man, lived a sinless life, died on a cross, was buried, rose bodily from the grave, and ascended into Heaven to redeem sinful people. He reigns today as King of kings, saving those who believe in and follow Him. One day He shall judge all those who reject Him and give His people His inheritance. (Hebrews 1:3)
Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit applies salvation to repentant people, regenerating, indwelling, sanctifying, and securing them for all eternity. (John 15:26)
Humanity
God creates all people in His image as uniquely male and female. We should glorify God by living His purpose for our lives according to His way revealed in Scripture. (Genesis 1:27)
Salvation
All people are sinful and in need of God's merciful salvation. Salvation is a gift of God, given by grace alone, and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 2:8)
The Church
The church is the redeemed family of God consisting of all believers in Jesus beginning with the first two humans, Adam and Eve, who trusted in Christ as their Savior. The church is global but organized as local autonomous assemblies. (Acts 2:42)
Restoration
Jesus will return to earth to judge all people, to restore Creation, and to rule and reign with his saints forever. (Matthew 25:46)
